Book an Appointment at London Autism Service

If you would like to talk to us about the different types of support we offer,
please fill in our
Client Registration Form and one of our clinicians will be in touch.

If you would like to book an autism assessment for yourself or your child, or to explore in more depth whether an assessment is the right approach at this stage, the first step is to attend an initial consultation with an expert clinician.
This involves preliminary screening, a discussion in order to understand your concerns and a space to explore formal diagnosis.
This appointment is also useful if you are not sure if you or your child would meet the threshold for an autism diagnosis, and to understand more about the process. You will receive a detailed written report with recommendations and an ongoing plan.

Initial Consultation

The first step to accessing an autism assessment is for you or you and your child to attend a 90 minute initial consultation with a clinician where they will talk through your concerns, discuss areas of need and the impact a diagnosis may have. This appointment is useful if you are not sure if you or your child would meet the threshold for an autism diagnosis, or just to understand more about the process. Following this appointment, the clinician will suggest whether going ahead with a full autism assessment is warranted and a detailed written report will be sent out to you highlighting our recommendations and an ongoing plan.

If you are seeking support for someone under 18, please book the appointment under the name of the child.

Please note, if you book an initial appointment online we must receive all the requested forms in your booking confirmation 48 hours prior to your appointment date to ensure your booking can take place.

If you are unsure if this is the right appointment type for you, please fill out our Client Registration Form and we will be in touch with guidance.
