If you would like an assessment, or to explore in more depth whether an assessment is the right approach at this stage, the first step is to attend an initial consultation with an expert clinician which involves preliminary screening, a discussion in order to understand your concerns and a space to explore formal diagnosis. This appointment is also useful if you are not sure if you or your child would meet the threshold for an autism diagnosis, and to understand more about the process. You will receive a detailed written report with recommendations and an ongoing plan.
